expansions are supposed to have just as much content as the retail release, so most likely then..

In terms of professions the gameplay is pretty varried. Each profession has, to me at least, a different feel to it. There are some similarities between some of the professions and profession combos, but each profession has a few things that give them a unique flavor.

Yar!
When the Beta Weekends started I was using a GeForce 2 MX 400 card, an AMD Athlon XP 1800, and 512 megs of PC2100 DDR Ram... it ran fine. Unless things have changed, your graphics card can handle this... You're not going to be seeing things at the best that they can be but I'd give it a shot if you were really interested.
The game is really beautiful and it is awesome to see it now as it's meant to be seen, but it's fun regardless of graphical bonuses. The best thing about this game, in my opinion, is the lack of commitment required... even now, you can pay 5$ to give the game a shot (via Pre-Order) and if it doesn't run as well as you like then you're only out 5$... And on release, if you buy the game for whatever it costs (50$ or who knows), you now have the game totally and entirely for as long as ArenaNet servers are still kicking. Pretty sweet. |
